3BC is chaired by two senior leaders from HBA’s Corporate Partners. These are highly visible leadership roles within the HBA, providing significant visibility across the industry and opportunities for strategic networking.

Brenda Fix
Senior Customer Success Manager, Health and Life Sciences
Microsoft Corporation

Brenda builds and fosters relationships with enterprise-level business and clinical Health and Life Science decision-makers. She builds relationships with top health systems and life sciences companies to transform their business and maximize existing investments in Microsoft's Modern Workplace solutions, including Teams. She aligns customers with the right resources, change management programs, and partners to enable them to modernize their business and adapt to marketplace challenges.

Brenda’s work in Health IT Marketing began in the late 1990s when the Internet was starting to be used for clinical data analytics. She has held Marketing, PR, Advertising, Partner Relationship, and Business Management roles at Shared Medical Systems, Siemens Health Services, and Quest Diagnostics. Prior to her Health IT work, she was a medical journal editor and health news feature writer. She holds a BA in English Writing from the University of Pittsburgh and an MS in Organization Leadership from Cabrini College. She was a recipient of the 2019 Health Businesswomen’s Association Luminary Award.


Seema Vaidyanathan

Seema is a dynamic and multifaceted pharmaceutical executive, with broad experiences across R&D to commercial and proven capabilities to take innovative ideas from concept to execution. She is passionate about driving change in the life science and pharma industry. She is focused on transforming drug development and patient outcomes by leveraging technology solutions and strategic partnerships. A mother of two daughters, she is a community leader, Women in STEM champion and a uber-engaged DE&I advocate and champion. She is a recipient of the 2021 HBA Rising Star Award.
