HBA Kansas City and BioKansas Announce Panelists for Healthcare Leadership Event on 14 August 

HBA Kansas City and BioKansas recently announced a panel of local healthcare leaders who will address the evolving world of healthcare leadership during an event at the Nerman Museum of Contemporary Art on 14 August 2019. 

Panelists include:

Laurie Myers, Ph.D.
chief operating officer, Cingulate Therapeutics

Dr. Myers is a pharmaceutical executive and entrepreneur whose expertise spans all aspects of branded pharmaceutical life cycle management from drug development and commercialization to strategy and execution of global marketing plans. She has played a key role in drug development, marketing and commercialization for leading global pharmaceutical companies, including Novartis, DuPont, Pfizer and Sanofi (including predecessor companies) which included leadership positions in both R&D and marketing. She has been named to the Top 100 Brand Champions by Pharma Voice.

Phouvieng Saycocie
director of laboratory operations, Viracor Eurofins Clinical Diagnostics

Phouvieng has worked in the lab industry for 20 years and served many roles including bench technologist and leading lab and IT business analyst teams. What she enjoys most about her role is learning new technologies, helping save lives and the opportunity to work with wonderful people every day. 

Erin Strait, Ph.D.
director of research and development for U.S. swine biologics, Merck Animal Health

Dr. Strait has more than 20 years of experience in animal health, working primarily on diagnostic assays and vaccine development for diseases of livestock animals. In her current role she oversees the U.S. team working to develop and license new vaccines for swine.

The event will also feature keynote speaker Carol Wells, senior director of commercial, medical and government affairs training and development at Genentech.
